Technical Specialist needed to offer 2nd line support at dynamic, ethical and continually growing company based in central Bristol.
What skills you'll be needing
- You’ll be experienced in acting as an escalation point and offering 2nd line support for an enterprise IT stack.
- It’s expected that you will have strong technical knowledge in the following: G Suite, Microsoft Windows / Active Directory / Office, Atlassian JIRA, Android / iOS (phones & tablets), Desktop / Laptop / Printer / Scanner hardware, OS and Linux systems, video conferencing tech and networking technologies.
- Strong organisational skills are essential and you will be experienced in prioritising your own work loads.
- You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to offer a high level of service to your colleagues around the company by working within the set SLA’s.
What you'll be doing
As a Technical Specialist you will be responsible for resolving 2nd line support issues across the business, as well as deliver and continuously improve the IT Systems. You will be highly skilled in problem management, diagnosing the cause and solving them quickly. The company use a ticket based support system so you will need to prioritise the tickets based on urgency using JIRA. Within the role, you will be expected to help make hardware and software selections as well as automating and integrating services so that the business is able to run as efficiently as possible.
