Digital Project Manager/ IT Project Manager

  • IT Project Manager position to join a FTSE 250 organisation. 

  • Work on business-critical projects including a platform migration, HR system implementation and upgrading and adding new functionalities to existing internal systems.

  • Offices in the heart of Bristol, easily commutable from Bath, Cardiff, Newport, Chippenham, Cheltenham and Swindon.

We're working with a FTSE 250 organisation within the Agile Project Team in the vibrant Bristol head office. We're looking for a Digital Project Manager to deliver new features to the company's website and mobile application, staying on top of the project scope and ensuring consistency and harmony between all stakeholders to reach business goals. 

What you'll be doing

As IT Project Manager will be joining a busy Agile Delivery Team reporting to the Senior IT Project Manager. You will be working in cross-functional teams closely with the Product Owners, Business Analysts and tech team on a variety of business change projects. Projects include implementing a new HR system, platform migration (to Kentico), upgrading and adding features and functionalities into existing online booking systems and BAU/ continuous improvement projects.

Using your expertise in Agile principles (with some elements of Prince2); establishing clear standards for those involved with the project.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • You will currently be an IT Project Manager, Digital Project Manager or Tech Project Manager.

  • Using JIRA to manage project activity.

  • Managing budget, risks, milestones, and timescales throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously and according to scope: on time and within budget.

  • Good experience working within an Agile environment.

  • Excellent experience managing internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with different areas of the business.

  • Excellent technical understanding ensuring objectives are feasible.

  • A clear understanding of technical terminology, being able to translate this to various non-technical stakeholders.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

  • CMS including Kentico.

  • Microsoft Project and Excel.
