PHP Engineer

A cutting edge analytics business, based in central Bristol, is looking for an experienced PHP Engineer as part of their next growth stage. What experience youll need

  • Youll have a strong amount of commercial experience with PHP. Any knowledge of frameworks (Symfony / Laravel) will be highly beneficial.
  • Ideally youll have a software background working within a SaaS business.
  • Youll also be experienced with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Git and MySQL. Knowledge of JavaScript (Angular) would be beneficial but not essential for this role.
  • Any experience with AWS, Docker, Drupal or D3 will be an added bonus.
  • Working with profiling tools and tracking tools (JIRA) will be important.
  • You will be interacting with clients so any previous client-facing experience is great.

What youll be doing

Youll be responsible for developing and constantly improving the unique and world-class analytics platform. Youll be working within a talented and growing tech team, leading projects on specific parts of the platform and systems when needed and youll also be working with clients to identify potential improvements. Its an Agile based development environment youll be working in, that feels much closer to a start-up than a large corporate. There will be plenty of R&D time as you research new technologies, methods and try out new ideas to suggest to the team.

    Immediate agency experienced Digital Project Manager wanted. 3-6 month contract. Competitive day rate in the region of £250 - £300. One of Bristol’s most highly regarded integrated marketing agencies are on the hunt for a talented Digital Producer/ Digital Project Manager/ Senior Digital Project Manager to join them on 3-6 month contract to help manage the delivery of an email campaign delivery for one of their flagship big name brand accounts. What you’ll be doing You’ll be working alongside some of the most talented minds in the industry with global brands on impressive high budget projects. This role will be varied and you will be responsible for: scoping, estimating project costs, project planning, quality management, resourcing project risk and assumption management. As Digital Project Manager you’ll be the glue that holds the digital projects and development needs together – from start to completion. You’ll make sure the right projects are prioritised and help the internal teams structure their commitments.  What experience you’ll need Agency experienced Digital Project Manager/ Scrum Master/ Senior Digital Project Manager. Track record in delivering multiple projects across digital (strategy, engagement, content, web design and builds). Technical project delivery, website and app development, system design and UX.  Experience in content management systems (CMS), ideally Drupal or similar.   First-class communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement as this is a client-facing role.  As it’s a short contract it’s essential you will be available for the full duration which is 3-6 months. The driving force behind internationally recognised products - this client is seeking an experienced electronics engineer to join their established multidisciplinary team. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will have the chance to work closely on a range of design projects - allowing you to see your work grow from concept to reality. This position is ideally looking for someone with a number of years experience, either in electronics, mechatronics, or embedded software - with an electronics leaning element in your work. What experience you'll need: Degree or relevant background in Electronics design. Industry experience in engineering and developing products. Strong exposure to software and electronics. Experience working at all stages of the product lifecycle. Experience working on medtech is advantageous.  What you'll be doing:You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing technical leadership for your colleagues.
