What you'll be doing

The creative work being undertaken is of massive importance to the rest of the business and you will be playing a key part in managing projects through to delivery.  With projects arising in abundance, you'll be effortlessly capable of influencing key stakeholders and communicating at all levels of the business, from quoting, obtaining sign off for briefs, developing a clear statement of work and attending cross-functional meetings. Working within a busy team (made up of 3d artists, 2d artists, illustrators, and art directors), you'll be ready to hit the ground running from day one, taking ownership of projects and ensuring that work is completed on time and budget.

What experience you'll need

  • Proven experience of working on creative campaigns (for example CG elements, retouch, illustrations, animations, and photography) as a Project Manager or Producer, ideally within a creative/ marketing agency.

  • Strong knowledge of creative, including retouch, illustrations, animations, and photography.

  • Full project cycle experience, from scope through to delivery.

  • Great communication skills, internally and externally.

  • Youll enjoy working in a fast moving and progressive environment.

  • Due to the length of the contract, you'll need to be immediately available and able to commit for the full duration of the contract (6 months).

This role is great for someone who enjoys building world class UI’s from scratch and appreciates modern tech and challenges in world of front-end development. Experience you’ll need You will have demonstrable experience of web development/design. Lots of experience with JS frameworks e.g. React, Angular, Vue. Plenty of HTML and CSS. Ideally Sass or Less experience. Cloud experience – either AWS, GCP or Azure would be great. A passion for the UI and technology in general. Any experience with C# .NET would be beneficial (though you don’t have to work with this). You’ll enjoy problem solving. It’s important you can build from scratch and understand writing clean code keeping organised. Prototyping would be beneficial. It is essential you will be eligible for SC clearance. What you’ll be doing This is a brand new and unique role in the systems team who work on testing and prototyping ground-breaking products, one of these products needs front-end work to create an attractive UI for the client/customers. You will be building this from the ground up, so you’ll have a lot of autonomy to choose your own technologies. It will be fast paced, and you’ll be used to that, defining the front-end roadmap and sticking to timelines. You’ll not just be on this one software product; you will be involved in a wide range of other projects where your experience is relevant. Everything is changing and evolving with such a variety, so you need to be equipped to pick up new technologies and adapt to various styles that are needed. It’s expected that you are using some form of JavaScript framework (ideally React or Angular) as well as the latest tools.
