An industry leading software consultancy is looking for a driven Software Engineer to join them in their offices just outside London. Successfully owning over 50% of the market, they work with some of the top 10 healthcare businesses in the world to help treat patients by building accurate pricing models for crucial pharmaceuticals and treatments.  You’ll play a key role in the success of the business’ core product whilst being encouraged to work on your own projects!

What skills you’ll need

  • Previous programming experience using C or C++, either commercially or part of a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Object Orientated Programming.
  • Experience of VB.Net would be beneficial.
  • Good understanding of functional programming such as SQL.
  • Ability to program Share-Point & Microsoft Office APIs would be advantageous.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly into the Director of Programming, you will be working on a number of both customer-facing & internal projects. Liaising closely with an expert team of consultants, your main focus will be to develop the software which allows major healthcare companies to forecast how many patients they can treat within their budget, adding new features & functionality when necessary. Further projects include a web based tool providing crucial analytics & market insight and internal processes. This is a role which offers a great level of autonomy over your work with the support of a highly collaborative office culture. They’re currently in the process of moving their database over to SharePoint, allowing you to gain valuable experience in this area.

    Lead role within a new B2B venture PE-backed group of businesses Ambitious growth plans Our client is looking for an ambitious and professional self-starter, with a great track record of driving growth within a B2B eCommerce environment. The role will require you to take the initiative in developing the eCommerce business unit, under a new brand, and, ultimately, ownership of its P&L. You will initially be accountable for overseeing all aspects of the venture, from procurement and product merchandising to digital marketing, sales and fulfilment, with the support of group resources and 3rd party agencies. What you’ll be doing The role will report into the Group Marketing Director and have close interaction with the investors. You don’t need to be the finished article, but you do need to show an impressive trajectory of professional development, a solid eCommerce skillset, and the ability to use your own initiative. In time, the plan is that you will build, shape and manage the group’s internal eCommerce function and capability; a team that can scale the opportunity into a multi-million-pound eCommerce business. Day to day, you will be responsible for managing, shaping and growing the new eCommerce business unit within the wider group. You will inherit a launch-ready WooCommerce platform with over 500 product listings, so will be expected to hit the ground running.
