You will be working as the R&D Manager of a small but expanding team, ensuring that R&D activities are managed and coordinated successfully. Overseeing data and sample collection whilst ensuring that people and resources are maximised in this highly dynamic and flexible role.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a motivated and varied team of junior researchers and technicians.
- Coordinating R&D operations, ensuring the timely delivery of trial data, reports and activities.
- Ensuring flawless cross-sectional communication.
- Communicating ongoing and planned R&D efforts both within the team and across the company.
- Working closely with external stakeholders across the waste-livestock value chain.
- During performance trials, you will support the team with data and sample collection on farm sites.
- This role will be a blend of home, office, and field/site work, with each day bringing exciting challenges and opportunities.
What experience you’ll need to apply?
- A proven track record of successful people and project management within complex, science-led projects.
- Very good attention to detail.
- You will be super organised, hardworking, and passionate.
- Experience with data and sample collection related to livestock performance trials.
- It would be beneficial to have experience working with stakeholders within the livestock sector, such as farmers and producers.
