This is an opportunity to join an exciting bioscience innovator, offering market leading science within a fast-growing sector. In line with ambitious growth, they are seeking Stem Cell Scientist (all levels) to join the team.

What you’ll be doing:

As the Stem Cell Scientist, you will lead the cell culture development team to create robust, scalable, and low-cost protocols. You will also create novel formulations of cell culture media, manage the lab including SOP’s, reprogramming of novel cell lines and provide support to the R&D and Production teams related to iPSCs (sourcing, characterisation, traceability, quality control and inventory management). This is a great opportunity to develop innovative solutions for highly complex cell culture challenges.

What experience you’ll need to apply?

  • PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar fields.
  • Experience with pluripotent stem cells (ideally iPSC).
  • Able to work independently on experiment design, execution, and optimisation.

Nice to have experience:

  • Cell reprogramming, with mRNA reprogramming highly desirable.
  • Mammalian species.
  • Strong record of scientific publications and/or patents.
  • Serum free media.
  • Muscle and/or fat protocols.
