An award-winning financial services company is looking for a Security Analyst to join their growing team in Cardiff. You will provide security analysis across a variety of devices with a focus on security event management.
What skills you’ll need
- Strong knowledge of working with a SIEM
- Experience conducting internal investigations
- Good threat vector knowledge
- Some understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework would be desirable
- Strong communication skills are essential
What you’ll be doing
Your role will be to protect the business by mitigating risks and promoting a best practice within security. You will monitor both the network and infrastructure in a SOC environment and protect against threats and attacks and suspicious activity from internal and external sources. You will raise any incidents for investigation and ensure any threats or vulnerabilities are escalated. Provide incident remediation and prevention advice.
