Senior Robotics Engineer

Developing and implementing software for a key player in the robotics space, this is an exciting position for an engineer passionate about the robotics field. Concentrating on autonomous technologies, you will have the opportunity to work on and experience the full life cycle of robotics. This client is currently on-boarding people remotely, and carrying out their interview process online. 
 
What experience you will need:

  • Background in computer science, engineering, embedded software, hardware development, robotics, or equivalent. 
  • Industry experience working with robotics. 
  • Programming experience with C++ and Python. 
  • Experience with autonomous navigation technologies. 
  • Experience with ROS and Linux. 

Experience with sensors, navigation, or SLAM would be advantageous.
 
What you’ll be doing: 
You will design, develop and implement software for robotics. This is a key role for the business, and consequently you will be providing your expertise and experience - guiding the business into its next phase. You will be a crucial part of their autonomous development capabilities, working as part of a wider technical team to design and develop prototypes. This role is a hands on position, ideal for an engineer looking to lead development within the robotics space.
