Were looking for a Digital Designer to join an award winning eCommerce business based in Bournemouth. This is an in-house role supporting the director with digital designs across a number of brands.

What youll be doing 

Working closely with the Director and Head of Content, youll be producing digital designs across a few e-commerce sites that attract millions of customers each year, ensuring user-friendly design at all times.

Forming a pivotal part of the team, youll be responsible for creating and developing assets to roll out brands consistently across web banners, social, email campaigns and print through to artwork when required.

Designs are currently being produced by a few people within different parts of the business so youll be stepping in as sole designer. That said, youll be comfortable working on sole projects, but youll be part of a friendly collaborative business who encourage sharing ideas and support development.

What experience youll need to apply

  • At least one years commercial experience in a design studio.
  • Experienced in Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop and InDesign a bonus).
  • Ability to understand brand guidelines, and create own assets.
  • A portfolio full of Digital Design projects.
  • An interest in working in the eCommerce & retail sectors.

With a studio set in a breath-taking location that’s commutable from Bath and Bournemouth, this is a chance to come on board with one of the most exciting organisations in the area.What you’ll be doingReporting in to the Creative Head, and working closely with Artwork and Project Managers, you’ll be delivering creative from concepts all the way through to production on solutions across all customer facing channels to an exceptional standard.As the organisation looks to bridge the gap between their online and offline offering you’ll be working in a multidisciplinary design role across POS, packaging and digital assets such as web banners, landing pages and social media assets.As an ideas-led creative, you’ll tell the brands story by translating their visual identity across integrated channels, and will help lead the design team to execute your concepts to the finest standard. That said, you’re a natural when it comes to leading on projects, scheduling workflow, and building relationships.No two days will be the same, as you will collaborate with the Head of Creative when required, which will often involve the Art Direction and organisation of regular photoshoots to produce product imagery, so ideally you’re familiar with a similar environment!What experience you’ll need to apply At least a few years’ integrated design experience in a commercial context. A portfolio full of examples of print and digital design work, including Packaging. Ideas led, and able to talk through your conceptual process. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). A natural project manager, with prior experience leading on projects. Confident guiding junior members of a creative team.
