An international start-up with offices in Cirencester is looking a Back-End Engineer who are ready to join a growing team in an ambitious company with big plans. You will be working with a tech founder who has already built a company known as “one of the best places to work in the UK” aiming to take this one on the same journey.
What skills you’ll be needing
- You will have worked and feel comfortable with PHP.
- Experience using MVC frameworks – Laravel, Symfony and Zend.
- Have an interest in AWS.
- Any creation of REST API’s would be great.
- Ideally you will have worked with things like Git, Grunt, Gulp and Webpack.
- Good communication skills
- The desire to pick up new technologies and train hard to become the best.
What you’ll be doing
As a developer in this critical team, you will be involved in refining the current platform and developing progressive new functionality to support the business' growth plans this year. They’re looking for someone to take an innovative approach to this product and play an important role of creating something brilliant from the get-go. They’re looking for developers who can keep the code base well structured, modular and efficient as well as to ensure the quality of architecture and design of system. You will also ensure new and existing applications are scaled to meet demand and gaps are fixed in system reliability. There will be progression options as the team grows, there’s lots of flexibility and training, you will get daily mentorship.
