PR Director

— Game Changing Global App

Salary: circa £100k
Location: Hereford (2 days at home)
Type: Permanent
Ref: 9227b

  • Gain huge amounts of coverage for an innovative App.
  • Promote a product that will genuinely improve the lives of millions of users.
  • Very competitive salary, benefits and flexible working.

This is a really rare and exceptional opportunity to join a highly ambitious HealthTech start-up as their new PR Director.  With an exceptional product that will genuinely improve people's lives, you will ensure there is enough noise that people worldwide are talking about this app and everyone wants to download it!  With the office being based in Hereford you will have the option of working a couple of days from home each week.

What you'll be doing

First a bit about you, you'll either come from a big PR agency background, or a big brand where you have run innovative campaigns across various International territories.  You'll embrace a fast moving and dynamic environment, and will be passionate about promoting this game changing product. The app is so effective, so necessary, and so accessible (being free to download) that you will have a product you will want to shout about, and you'll have the budget, resources, tools and agency support necessary to really deliver great things.

Delivering this exceptional app to a Global market requires a lot of talk, you will set out the strategy and begin getting word out to relevant journalists, news outlets, publications, and will build a network of renowned social influencers to create excitement and buzz around the product.

You will establish relationships with relevant partners across key territories of EMEA, APAC and the Americas.  A social expert, you'll have proven experience of working with key social influencers, and ideally you will have worked with either a mass audience consumer brand, driving a lot of coverage around key product launches.  Crisis management is important in any company, but especially within the health industry, you'll be able to get ahead of a story and will engage with the CEO to draft responses as required.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • Big agency or in house experience within a similar role
  • Strong background across PR and working with Social Influencers
  • Proven ability to create a lot of noise around product launches
  • Established network of relevant contacts
  • Energetic, confident, and of course an exceptional communicator
  • Confident demeanour and able to live and breath the product

What you'll get in return for your talents

No worries here at all, you'll get a very competitive salary (circa £100k), 20% bonus, flexible working, good pension, there's a Michelin Star chef on site with all food provided.  It's a really healthy environment, there's share options, healthcare, you couldn't ask for more!

What's next

Clearly this is a role anyone can get excited about, if you think you have the right level of experience then please apply now, or contact Chris Currey (01179 269530) for a confidential chat.
