eCommerce Assistant / Executive
— Thriving Multi-Channel Retailer
- Multi-Channel offering.
- Fast-growth in eCommerce.
- Fantastic experience for an in-house brand.
This eCommerce team have gone from strength to strength, building on the solid foundation of their bricks and mortar and wholesale offering. Successive year on year growth has led to the requirement for an eCommerce Assistant to step in and drive a positive look and feel of the site.
What you’ll be doing
Working as part of the broader eCommerce team, your overall role will be to support the digital function in delivering fresh, engaging content to help boost conversions. This will primarily be copywriting for product descriptions and category pages, but being in the fashion market it’s a perfect role for someone to flex their creative muscles with an amazing brand.
There will also be a more commercial element to the role, involving product uploads, price amendments and creating promotions. Each of these can have a dramatic influence on customer behaviour to increase conversion rates and average order value (AOV), therefore giving you excellent exposure to this side of eCommerce. Throughout all tasks you’ll collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure content is matched to the voice of the brand.
You’ll also have exposure to customer service within an eCommerce setting, to help solve customer queries and push orders through.
What experience you’ll need
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Ideally experience in an e-commerce or digital setting on the content side, however not a must.
- Highly organised and able to multitask.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Photoshop would be a real plus.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
A competitive salary at the £18k mark, although if your experience puts you a touch above this, please still get in touch. Happy to share wider benefits on request.
