Creative Director

We’re looking for a Creative Director to join an award-winning agency at the top of their game, in the Gloucestershire area. This role overarches a brand new team of creatives who’ve joined forces for a recent key account win for the agency.

What you'll be doing

Reporting into the managing director and CD of the core agency, you will lead the team in creating and developing innovative data driven campaigns for this key account across CRM, eDM and DM.

The essence of this role will be to inspire the team to collaborate, contribute to the overarching strategy, and effectively deliver creative campaigns. You’ll need to be as comfortable leading projects and managing this arm of the agency, as you’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in!

You’ll have a wealth of experience in Financial Services (excuse the pun), a portfolio full of conceptual work (be it Copy or AD projects) and have inspirational leadership and presentation skills to boot.

We’re looking for someone who’s led on Creative in a similar role, or in an Associate Creative Director role, ideally with a top agency. If you’re in London looking for an opportunity to settle down south, or are in a nearby town looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Due to the nature at the agencies core, it should go without saying you won’t be a stranger to below-the-line marketing inclusive of digital channels.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • Conceptual in experience with a hands-on approach.
  • A portfolio full of Creative concept work (Copy or AD).
  • Presentation and pitch is your bread and butter.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, or Associate CD role.
  • Expert knowledge of Below-the-Line marketing – inc. CRM.

This is an opportunity to deliver user centred web and native app builds for a variety of big-name brands. What you’ll be doing In this role you’ll be joining a global agency and play a pivotal role in their UX function, as part of their growing digital team. The UX Designer will work closely with clients and other internal teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, to ensure that the user is kept in mind throughout and business goals are met for the client. You’ll work closely both with clients and the agency’s planning team to gather research and insight. Often this data will be supplied to you, but there may be times you gather your own and engage in broader research activities yourself. From there you’ll work closely with the design team who will add the polish to your work and the development team who will bring it to life. Workshopping with clients will also be a key part of the role, so confidence when dealing with clients will be key. What experience you’ll need to apply A deep understanding of design principles and user centred design. Collaborative approach, confident working in cross-functional teams. Experience running your own user testing, in-house or remote. Data and insight driven in all you do. A good understanding of interaction design fundamentals and modern design trends. Knowledge of HTML and CSS. Skilled in modern design tools such as Sketch, Invision, XD or Marvel etc (whichever you’re comfortable with). A portfolio of case studies showcasing your approach to UX, and responsive design. Previous agency experience desirable.     Be part of an exciting new L&D project. Join a team changing lives across the UK. Initial fixed term contract but with long term prospects. We’re looking for a Learning Designer to join one of our clients in Cheltenham. The role will be remote with great flexibility options long term but a driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion will be required. What you’ll be doing This role is to join an organisation that is responsible for positively changing people’s lives up and down the country. The team’s purpose is to help those with special needs and disabilities secure the right education and care. As a Learning Designer you will join the L&D (learning and development) team and support on the implementation of a new digital learning platform as well as the creation of learning content for a wide variety of courses. Reporting into the head of L&D you will work alongside a Moodle administrator and focus on internal learning programmes for staff across the business. Moodle is the learning platform of choice, but previous experience isn’t required; more important is a passion for storytelling and a desire to make the complex, simple. The courses you’ll be creating will vary greatly. To create content you’ll be supported with access to articulate 360 but longer term they would love to find someone that has a desire to create their own assets and materials; this could include graphic design elements, video content, photography and scripts. What you’ll need to be considered A background in the creative industries or learning and development (be that learning design, instructional design, or other learning content creation). A confident writer, able to generate copy for learning programs, intro’s, descriptions, instructions and assessments. An eye for design and creativity, with the ability to storyboard and conceptualise learning materials. Experience with Moodle highly desirable but not essential. Good stakeholder management experience, comfortable taking feedback and engaging with staff to get the most from the platform. Organised and capable of managing large volumes of content. Able to work remotely but with access to a car and the ability to travel to client sites on occasion. Passionate about digital learning and making a difference to peoples lives.
