We’re looking for a UI Designer to join a product team in Cirencester. The brand is well established with over 100 employees and they have a unique suite of digital products on offer to their customers. As a business they are increasingly investing in UX and visual design; this role will be key in further progressing the visual design language for their collection of products. With some remote working on offer and a great culture, this one can’t be missed.
What you’ll be doing
Joining the product team you will work alongside a product owner, product manager, experienced UX Designer and innovation lead.
The software they produce is B2B and they work with a range of businesses big and small, you’ll help streamline the visual experience with clients in the hospitality sector and retail, among others. Over the past 3 years some solid groundwork has been put in place for UX within the business, the suite of products has had a face lift and huge improvements have been made across the board; you can rest assured you’ll join a user centred business that will provide a fertile ground for good design.
The product suite is contemporary so you won’t be working on dated interfaces and fighting an uphill battle to justify good design process, the business has seen the rewards on offer when proper investment is made in design. Saying this you will need to be a good communicator. The UI Designer will interact with stakeholders across the entire business, along with their customer base.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Previous experience in a midweight or senior UI design role.
- A strong portfolio of engaging, contemporary designs (responsive web, app)
- Expert ability in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Ability to take ideas from conception to completion.
- Collaborative in approach able to work closely with developers, product owners and UX specialists.
- Excellent communication skills.
