Communications Executive

We’re looking for an experienced Communications Executive to join an established manufacturing organization based in Cheltenham. This is the ideal opportunity for a talented Communications professional with strong time management, attention to detail and is an excellent problem solver.
 

What you’ll be doing?

Digital Communications
  • Take the lead in managing the Group’s LinkedIn channel, developing content and attracting new followers
  • Contribute to the development of new and existing digital channels, including the website and Group Intranet, through creating and posting content, measuring engagement and effectiveness as well as participating in improvement initiatives
Corporate & Financial Reporting
  • Undertake research, data collation, case study development, image sourcing, content drafting and fact checking for the Group’s Full and Half Year Results Materials and Investor Events, including the Annual Report & Accounts, Analyst and Investor Presentations
Internal Communications
  • Work as an internal ‘business partner’ to support strategic functional communications needs in areas such as Sustainability, HR and Health & Safety
Capability Projects
  • Contribute to the development of processes and tools to support the work of the communications function including image and asset management
 
This will be a hybrid home and office-based role, with an occasional requirement for travel within the UK and internationally.


What experience you’ll need to apply?

  • Related experience in a communications role or field, including corporate communications, internal/external communications, marketing or PR.
  • Experience in social media content creation and planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage time to ensure delivery to deadlines.
  • Resourceful, adaptable and creative, with the ability to come up with innovative ideas and remain calm under pressure.
  • Acts with integrity at all times, seeks and acts on feedback, proactive at identifying opportunities for personal and professional development.
