On behalf of our client, we're looking for an impressive Project Manager to join one of the South West’s most well-respected CRM Marketing agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a list of high-profile global clients, alongside a hugely multi-skilled team.

What you’ll be doing

As Project Manager you'll play a key role in helping this business achieve their goal of becoming the undisputed number one customer engagement agency in the UK. You will do this by utilising your well-developed skills and experience surrounding digital and IT projects to plan, execute and deliver complex projects within budget, on time and exceed client expectations. You will show superb client management capability whilst liaising with creative and digital teams and all stakeholders on a daily basis. You will enjoy working within a fast paced and fun environment and take pride in the fact that whilst this business aims for excellence, they like to reward team members effectively.

What experience you'll need

  • You could be working as a Project Manager or Producer at the moment.
  • Ideally, your experience will be gained from an agency with experience of technical projects.
  • Experience of both Marketing and Customer Engagement.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing both small and large scale projects with varying levels of complexity, size, scope, budget and timelines.
  • You will also be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously whilst remaining calm under pressure and maintain levels of quality.
  • Comfortable working with multi skilled colleagues from designers and developers to testers and IT.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of a range of tools and platforms.
  • Strong track record of efficiency and process.
  • First-rate client management skills with the ability to manage expectations.
  • Enthusiasm for using differing project management methodologies including agile and waterfall.

What skills you’ll need Proven background in server-side development using C# .Net Core. Awareness of cloud technology, preferably with AWS but Azure also considered.  Appreciation of front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MVC).  Knowledge of databases, SOLID principles & Git repos.  Ability to work Agile, managing workflow using JIRA.  What you’ll be doing With plans to build a new digital platform with several microservices, you will be back-end focused, developing .Net Core services deployed in Docker, using Swagger to document APIs. It’s expected that you will carry out unit/integration tests whilst reviewing other colleague’s code and refactoring where necessary. You’ll be liaising with internal stakeholders & other third parties, implementing security & data protection measures, assisting on project estimates as well as producing reusable code for future project work. There are other initiatives to involve yourself internally giving this role a lot of variety with good scope for progression. With a bunch of exciting projects due to kick off imminently across a variety of areas, they're fully equipped to continue delivering projects from home and are happy interviewing/onboarding remotely.  What experience you’ll need  Proven full-stack web development expertise with good knowledge of Laravel.  Capable with HTML, CSS (Sass) & JavaScript, preferably with exposure to Vue/Nuxt or something similar. React would also be considered.  An eye for UI and flair for usability.  Awareness of various templating tools (such as Twig). Experience with a bespoke back-end management system; preferably Craft but open to others.  Knowledge of continuous deployment (Deploybot/DeployHQ) would be beneficial.  Keen attention to detail and an ability to provide a detailed understanding of client needs.  What you’ll be doing Sitting in the digital team (5 people) you'll be covering a variety of different projects, you could be working on multiple things concurrently so adaptability is key.
