Description

  • 3 month contract starting ASAP – chance of extension.
  • £275 - £325 p/day.
  • Fantastic agency environment. Custom offices with great team.

A fantastic agency, based in Cheltenham, is looking for a Web Developer for a 3 month contract starting ASAP. They already have a long list of household names as clients and there are a number of new projects looking to start over the coming weeks that they’ll need an extra pair of hands to help with. Based in amazing custom offices with a great atmosphere, there’s a strong chance of extension and/or future work.

What experience you’ll need

  • Front-end competency will be key to the role, based around HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Strong skills with PHP on the back-end will highly beneficial.
  • Wordpress skills are also highly important, as well as LESS or SASS (SASS is preferable).
  • JavaScript experience is beneficial (Angular ideally but not essential).
  • You’ll be happy to take ownership of new projects when necessary and work closely with the in-house team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for assisting the in-house team with their current workload, depending on how quickly you start. Early November is when a number of new projects are predicted to land and you’ll be taking responsibility for a number of these, again assisting the team where needed or taking complete ownership if the workload dictates. Mixture of FE and BE development, primarily website development for some major brands.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

It’s a great agency to work with, in amazing offices and with a talented team. The contract will last for 3 months but with the amount of inbound work they have from some really interesting clients, there’s a definite chance for future work. Paying up to £325 p/day.
