We’re looking for a Video Editor to join a growing and ambitious video production agency in Cheltenham. You’ll be joining the agency alongside an award winning team, helping deliver a wide range of editing projects for an impressive client list.
What you’ll be doing
As a Video Editor you’ll use your meticulous eye for detail to turn raw video footage into engaging video content. Working with clients from start-ups to corporate giants you’ll have exposure to a wide range of sectors and briefs.
Culture is a big thing for the business. You’ll come with an entrepreneurial mind-set full of ideas to challenge (and impress) clients time and time again. It goes without saying that you’ll need to be a self-starter, passionate and able to turn your hand to all aspects of the post production process.
You’ll need to be confident when working alone as well as alongside other editors in the team; day to day you’ll be taking ownership of a variety of editing briefs, so you’ll be no stranger to juggling multiple jobs at one once. Occasionally you’ll collaborate with the wider team; made up of filmmakers, senior editors and researchers. Most importantly you’ll be working a 4 day week and getting paid for 5 days! (hours are 8-6PM).
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Confident with Final Cut
- Experience editing video for corporate/commercial clients.
- Fantastic time management skills.
- Ideas driven.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally have some knowledge of filmmaking/self-shooting video.
- Have bags of personality, a sense of humour will go a long way in this office!
- Most importantly a showreel of recent editing projects in a commercial context.
