Sales & Marketing Manager
— Establish a New Marketing Function
- Build a new Marketing Function for a £10m Business.
- Run Omnichannel Brand Awareness & Lead Generation Campaigns.
- Hugely Varied Role.
Here is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established B2B business on the outskirts of Swindon as their new Sales & Marketing Manager. This is a broad role where you'll establish a new Marketing function for the business, overhauling their current website, digital offering and offline collateral, whilst developing an effective CRM capable of managing the sales leads that you generate and bring in to the business.
What you'll be doing
This is a dual role where you will first develop and build the Marketing function from the ground up, but once established you will also find and develop new business leads that you will filter through to Estimators.
You will quickly understand the business and their market, and will use your market insight to develop the strategy and operating marketing plan. There are some key projects that need to be delivered, including designing and building a new corporate website with the help of an external agency that you will help source. The new website will need to be populated with content, case studies, interviews, videos, and this will be an ongoing aspect of the role.
The sales and marketing collateral hasn't been updated or refreshed for a while and so once you establish brand guidelines, you will ensure this is maintained across all material whilst bringing the content and imagery up to date. You will help produce high end bid/tender documents as required, and will assist with presentations to help the Technical Team pitch for new business.
You will run multichannel campaigns for brand awareness, recruitment, and for lead generation. Delivering new business opportunities for the Business will be a key requirement and you will utilise market knowledge to identify upcoming opportunities, manage organic incoming enquiries, and ensure the CRM is set up in a way to store and manage this data. Ongoing social media management, email marketing, events and analytics will all be a part of the role as well.
As a commercial marketer you will ensure there is regular reporting on campaign success, ROI, sales and website performance; this is an all encompassing role where you will never have a dull day.
What experience you'll need to apply
- Proven experience within a B2B environment
- Broad experience across digital and offline channels
- Experience setting marketing strategies and plans
- Experience working within a sales environment
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and source and speak with prospective clients
- A strong written and verbal communicator
- Ideally previous experience working with lead generation campaigns
What you'll get in return for your talents
This is a great role where you'll get the opportunity to put your own stamp on the entire sales and marketing function. There is a good salary on offer (circa £35k-£40k), 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, private medical insurance, and a great company culture.
