UX Researcher

— In-House Team, New Role

Salary: DOE
Location: Gloucestershire
Type: Permanent
Ref: 6884

Description

We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join one of the West Country’s biggest success stories. This digital business has been going for less than a decade but already their impact on the industry has been phenomenal. They’re an independent but fiercely strong competitor brand in the market. They’re currently on the hunt for an experienced UX researcher to help them get under the skin of their users and build on what is already an already impressive service.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with the product owner, Creative UX manager, Digital Designers, Data Analyst and remaining scrum team this role will work to improve the user experience for their leading online platform. As a UX Researcher you will develop an unparalleled understanding of their customer base through user research and A/B testing. You’ll create journey maps and inform the design team on building effective wireframes and prototypes from your learnings. A crucial part of this role will be working with internal stakeholders to ensure needs are met across the business.

What experience you’ll need

Here we need someone with some previous commercial experience, preferably in a B2C environment. This is a new role for the business and as such we’re hoping for someone to bring some knowledge of process and methodology to help improve and develop research and testing for the business. As a sole UX researcher you will collaborate with other skill sets to get the job done but you’ll need to be confident in your practice and self-assured enough to ensure you’re able to advise those around you and get real results from the team.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

In return for your talents you’ll join a truly impressive business: one that has emerged as a serious competitor to huge brand names in their market. You’ll get to enact change and really see the impact of your work on the product and team around you. As well as job satisfaction you’ll be given a newly refurbished and truly one of a kind office space to work from, you’ll be rewarded with a company bonus scheme, fun enjoyable culture and real progression opportunities.

What’s next?

To be considered please apply with an up to date CV and a selection of case studios that showcase your UX research experience.
