An award-winning software house is looking for a number of Graduate/Junior Technical Engineers to join their team in Southampton after recent expansion. They’ve built a product which is based on employee engagement & analytics, focusing on tapping into employee experience and comparing how different teams collaborate and reward themselves. Having set up over 10 years ago and now employing over 170 people, the business work with a varied client base of small and large businesses spread across the retail, telecoms and financial sectors, plus many more. This is the perfect role for someone looking to begin or build upon a career in IT (support, web development, testing and more).
What skills you'll need
- Understanding of SQL.
- Coding experience with C#.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
- Strong numeric skills and key eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills with an abillity to work under pressure.
- Multi-tasking / time-management
- Ability to work as part of a team
What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining a collaborative tech team at their offices in central Southampton. Working in a tight knit team you’ll support the implementation and configuration of an award-winning platform (as well as helping to add new features), often working across multiple projects concurrently. It’s a varied and exciting role with no two days the same. Your typical working week could include; attending project meetings with colleagues or clients as required, unit testing completed work (don't worry, full training will be provided), peer reviewing colleagues’ work, reviewing technical specifications and working with consultants to resolve queries, working with their Data Services team to produce payroll and provider reports.
