What you'll be doing:

As a key Bioprocessing Technician, you’ll be working on cell culture operations covering expansion, transduction, and harvesting, and collecting data from experiments to advice of design changes and process improvement. This is an opportunity to work on market leading technology which is set to make an impact in the medical world.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Mammalian Cell culture (seeding, expansion, transduction and differentiation).
  • Microscopy, data collection, cell viability, gene expression, flow cytometry and other project analysis.
  • Laboratory tasks and upkeep – procurement and consumables.

What experience you’ll need to apply?

  • Worked Mammalian Cell Lines eg hESCs, HEK293, stem cells, Jurkat or similar.
  • Experience of PCR, ELISA or Flow Cytometry.
  • Any bioreactor experience with stirred tanks, bags or hollow fibers (eg GE Wave, G-Rex, Dasgip, Miltenyi Prodigy, iCELLis, Terumo Quantum) would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Any microfluidic cell culture, GMP, SOP’s, risk assessment, lab reporting, industrialisation, process, and technology transfer would be beneficial.
