QA Engineer

We’re helping a creative tech business with a network spanning worldwide find a QA Engineer to join them in Bristol or London (popping into the office every week or two minimum). They offer a cloud-based digital commerce & recording platform with technology spanning across web publishing, video streaming/processing, digital audio, revolutionising the industry. One of Europe’s fastest growing businesses with no plans to slow down!

What experience you'll need

• Good working knowledge with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Jira and the Atlassian Suite.
• Experience with cross browser tools and techniques.
• Experienced in API testing using industry standard tools such as Postman.
• Technical knowledge in the web and mobile web platforms.
• Security risks and vulnerabilities knowledge (OWASP top ten etc).
• Understanding of HTTP.
• Understanding of REST.

What you'll be doing

Being part of a Scrum team, you’ll get the chance to work with stakeholders to design and implement testing strategies for existing and new features. You’ll also develop and execute test cases in Gherkin. Cross-browser testing, API testing and using Postman (or equivalent) will be part of your day-to-day.
