A well-funded, fast-growing FinTech is currently looking for a top-tier Senior Frontend Developer to join their experienced and talented Engineering team. They are looking for a software craftsperson who is incredibly passionate about development and creating amazing UX. 

Following a recent, large funding round, they are looking to expand the team with more world-class individuals. You will be their first, dedicated Front-End hire, so you’ll really have the opportunity to develop an amazing product for developers that you can call yours.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Creating a world-class and beautifully designed developer API platform
  • Focus on creating a UX-first platform for an Open Banking platform to be used by developers for banks, regulators, and FinTech companies
  • Building beautiful dashboards for customers
  • Taking charge of product and projects through every stage of the journey, from inception, implementation, to iteration. 

What experience you’ll need to apply

Strong experience in:

  • Building scalable React applications
  • Understanding web markups – CSS3, HTML5
  • Building reusable front-end libraries & components
  • Understanding the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Writing robust, maintainable, sustainable, and understandable code

Good experience in:

  • State management through React, Hooks, and Redux
  • Styled components, LESS, Stylus, or SASS
  • Coder-versioning tools like Git

Bonus

You’ll know the world of TV, film or video games well and how to motivate a team of animators to create their best work. Leading on projects you’ll be responsible for workflow as well as growing and managing a pool of freelancers. You’ll spend time with clients too, managing expectations and ensuring commercial agreements are met on a day-today basis. Using your hands-on expertise, you’ll train animators on re-targeting and quality processes and be responsible for quality control on each project.
