eCommerce Marketing Manager

This High-end brand is at the top end of the luxury scale and this is an extremely exciting opportunity to work with a fashion brand of this nature. The eCommerce manager will work broadly across a number of key Digital Channels, whilst focusing on strategy and growth.

What you’ll be doing    

Working as part of a team of around 4 people, you’ll report into the team lead and work alongside Production and Retail teams to plan and co-ordinate Marketing opportunities and in-store events. Although you will be joining a young team, the brand is well established which is a great footing for somebody to come in and make their mark straight away.

You will be actively working with the team to open up the brand to new customers, whilst planning Digital marketing, partnering and advertising opportunities. You will use your experience to develop website content, write product descriptions and manage the newsletters in line with the marketing schedule. Key digital channels that you will need to have hands-on experience in are PPC, SEO, Email and Social Media and be able to analyse and report on results, driving growth both online and offline.

This role will be a chance for you to show off your business savvy, strategic skills. You will also have the opportunity to join with the design and production of seasonal advertising campaigns and being involved with photo shoots to gather visual content for the website.

 

What experience you’ll need

  • Broad eCommerce Marketing experience for a high-end, luxury fashion brand is a must.
  • Hands on experience with key digital channels (PPC, SEO, Email, Social).
  • Planning and delivering eCommerce strategy.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe Creative, Mail Chimp, Word Press and Social platforms.
  • Confident working as part of a team and liaising with members of staff at a range of levels.

You’ll work with the Content & Design teams to build blog article pages, using UX knowledge and digital design best practice to guide your layout decisions. Furthermore, you’ll manage the relationship with the web development agency and project manager.  This role also has one direct report – an eCommerce Assistant – who you’ll be able to lean on for some aspects of delivery, however you’ll still be expected to get stuck in and implement the strategy.   What experience you’ll need to apply Experience managing an eCommerce website end-to-end. B2C retail experience. Experience using Shopify is preferable.  Strong numeracy and analytical skills.  Experience using the full Google suite - Google Analytics is essential.  Experience in developing digital marketing strategies Technically minded with a customer focused approach  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  What you’ll get in return for your experience   The salary bracket is flexible dependent upon experience, but please bear in mind that you’ll be expected to work hands-on, not just at a strategic level. They are seeking a versatile and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to implement and manage the digital acquisition and comms strategy for their brand, across multiple channels.  What you’ll be doing  Your key aim will be to drive brand exposure and awareness through a range of digital channels, drawing upon expertise in Paid Advertising, Social Media and Content Marketing.   Day to day, you’ll work closely with a number of internal stakeholders, such as the eCommerce team, to ensure your strategies for driving customers onto the website are aligned. You’ll also work with the buying team who’ll advise on the relevant products to incorporate into your content before each new collection drops.  The creative team will support you with writing and optimising content to deliver against your overarching social & content calendar. In addition, you will plan affiliate exposure and commission exclusive affiliate content, where appropriate, as well as developing partnerships with relevant influencers.  Using relevant analytics tools, you will track & monitor campaign and keyword performance and optimise accordingly, as well as ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to, e.g. tone of voice.  What experience you’ll need to apply Experience within an eCommerce environment.  Ability to deliver successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.  Experience with the Google suite of analytics products.   Strong written and verbal communication skills required.  Self-starter/self-motivated, capable of staying on track and completing tasks.  Adapts easily to changing environments and demonstrates flexibility in shifting goals. and priorities.  Must be a hands-on team member and operate with a start-up mentality.
