The role is likely to be around 3 days in the office (Bristol, Wiltshire or London) and the rest from home, though there’s potential for more flexibility case by case. What you’ll be doing You’ll be joining the Digital Experience team of a top global technology brand. In this role you’ll be working across the full spectrum of their digital ecosystem on high profile, global projects. All alongside a team of fellow experience specialists as well as a wider project, product, and development function. The team are well renowned for their engineering capabilities and digital has been a high growth area for them over the last few years. You’ll be stepping into a team that has grown to include research as a distinct specialism so your work will involve collaborating with research experts to access insight both qualitative and quantitative. At a Junior level you’ll maintain a blended role that involves UX and UI outputs. You’ll be supported with research findings from the wider team that inform your concepts, wireframes and prototypes. You’ll then take projects through to high fidelity finished visuals. Your work will see you support the areas of new product development, digital campaign and other key projects. Working as part of a sizeable design team you’ll have the support of seniors and experienced managers across the business to work with on projects and support your development. What experience you’ll need Previous experience in a design role that involves UX and UI design outputs. A portfolio showcasing your digital expertise with evidence of UI design and a user centred process to projects. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards and user flows. Ideally some experience of working to an Agile / Scrum delivery but not essential. Great communication skills. Experience with modern design tools such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, UXPin and Adobe CC. Able to work from offices in Bristol, Wiltshire or London (either full time or part time if required), roughly 3 days a week but some flex may be possible. What experience you’ll need Proven experience in a similar Creative Services Director, Head of Resourcing, Resourcing Director or Head of Creative Services role managing large creative services teams is essential. Ideally you’ll come from agency side, have experience of agile and scrum methodologies and at home working at pace in a changing environment and with autonomy, leading a dynamic creative and multi-disciplined team. However, if you are within a sizeable internal agency within a large brand then we’d love to hear from you too. You’ll bring a good understanding of production for a wide range of assets (copy, print artwork, TV, film, imagery etc) plus bags of creative thinking, motivation, drive and ambition. Experience in managing and onboarding freelancers and contractors. Line management experience, working closely with members of your team on personal development plans. A natural leader, that works well under pressure and leads from the front.
