eCommerce Manager (12 month FTC)

This luxury brand is looking for an experience eCommerce Manager to maintain and grow their online business across the UK. Over the course of a year, you will have the opportunity to manage two major projects which are integral to growing their online presence. 

What you’ll be doing 

Reporting into the UK General Manager, you will have responsibility for creating and implementing the entire online strategy, from digital marketing through to content upload, online trading and analytics. 

You will work alongside all relevant stakeholders to ensure a multi-channel trading platform is maintained, such as the brand manager, who will assist in developing the trading calendar to show how revenue targets will be achieved. 

Your remit will also include managing and executing the day to day eCommerce operations such as fulfilment, distribution, customer service, order management and site performance, working with technical partners to ensure maximum efficiency is upheld. 

You will continually report on performance using Google Analytics, and recommend ways of optimising the site with the aim of improving conversions.

SEO and PPC are carried out by agencies which you will manage according to your overarching campaign strategy, but email will be implemented by yourself, defining frequency, offers and segments.

A key part of your role will be to oversee the implementation of a new fulfilment strategy, from liasing with an external distribution company and 3rd party stockists, to managing the full systems integration with the eCommerce site. 

The second project will be the re-launching of a company loyalty scheme which will go live across the site under your supervision. 

In addition, you will be accountable for managing the budget and resource allocation so as all projects are completed within the planned parameters and the objectives are achieved. 

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Relevant background in a broad eCommerce role. 
  • Strong technical knowledge with CMS and Google Analytics.
  • Photoshop/ InDesign skills preferable.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent balance of strategic and operational thinking.
  • Experience working with stakeholders. 
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • eCommerce fulfilment experience is advantageous.
