What you’ll be doing

We need you, a technically astute Digital Product Manager, to work with the wider product, development and UX teams as well as internal stakeholders to drive the progress of the app. You will be leading on a number of activities and key deliverables across the product road map. The business operates with a flat, collaborative structure with a focus on innovation - encouraging creative freedom and in return for your hard work, you will be integrated into a flexible, supportive and fun team of passionate fintech professionals.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Create high and low fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
  • Daily sprint planning, ceremonies and agile delivery.
  • Create testing scripts, automation test scripts, user interviews and extensive research with users.
  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills, you will be acting as an agile coach and product evangelist.

  • Understanding UX principles, user pain points, user journey mapping, user stories.

Scalable mobile application with 1m+ monthly users.  A progressive mobile start-up with aggressive growth plans are looking for a front-end leaning Android Engineer to join their team in East London. The business has built an innovative mobile app which offers a range of monetisation solutions to support their various partners to drive revenue, increase engagement and decrease overall churn. Today they operate across 4 continents, have 12 apps in market, c6000 daily users and around 1.8 million monthly users, which only continues to expand.  What skills you’ll need Proven background in full-stack Android Engineering. Full-Stack experience with a passion for high-level front-end and usability. Significant commercial knowledge of Java Android and Kotlin. .  Good understanding of unit testing & test automation.  Awareness of continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins or similar).  Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with fortnightly sprints & daily stand-ups.  Any contribution to apps in Google Play Store would be beneficial.  Any knowledge of things like Python, Golang, Retrofit, Dagger or RXJava would be useful, but by no means essential. What you’ll be doing  Working alongside 2 other Android Engineers and the Product Manager you will take responsibility for the development & maintenance of several Android applications, primarily focusing on the front-end aspect and looking to improve overall usability standards. Though this role is front-end leaning there will still be a good element of back-end involved, so you will need to offer full-stack expertise in order to hit the ground running. There’s a mixture of Greenfield & on-going projects to get involved in, the main focus being a large-scale migration from Java to Kotlin. It’s expected that you will look after unit testing & automation, as well as getting involved in daily stand-ups and fortnightly sprints. Overall there are three core products, two of which are on the same codebase with the third differing slightly, so there will be a lot of variety and constant exposure to new & emerging tech.     Senior Application Support Engineer

Following a recent acquisition, the business is moving from strength-to-strength at pace, with extensive growth plans in place and very good scope for internal progression and personal development.  What skills you’ll need Background in application support with proven programming experience using Java/J2EE, and full understanding of the SDLC. Ability to provide analysis, testing & deployment capability across a multitude of systems.  Good understanding of Oracle or SQL. Knowledge of both would be really useful.   Solid experience using XML/SOAP for documentation. Any awareness of Git/JIRA/Confluence for version control would be advantageous.  Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills. Financial services domain experience would be handy, but isn’t a deal-breaker.  If you have any understanding of Guidewire, you’ll be top of the list! This is by no means essential though.  What you’ll be doing  Joining an application management team of 3, you will engage with end users to identify & report incidents, providing expert application support up to code level fixes. There is a multitude of systems to take care of, including an insurance platform, cost centre, billing centre & policy centre, so it’s expected that you’ll gain a functional understanding of the application as a whole to ensure efficient service is maintained at all times. You’ll be specifying, coding, testing & deploying various data/functional/technical fixes, as well as implementing continuous service improvement standards alongside the test of your team. There is a lot of autonomy in this role so self-starters are needed, you will also need a high level of communication skills as there will be a lot of internal customer engagement involved.
