eCommerce Manager

They are seeking an eCommerce Manager to take their growth online to the next level. With stores in both London and New York, the site will help drive direct eCommerce sales and footfall to the stores. 

What youll be doing

Youll manage a team of 4 including an eCommerce Coordinator, Customer Service advisor, Photographer and Fulfilment Executive. Of course youll drive online performance with the team, however a hands-on approach is required across the board to lead by example. This includes digital acquisition, retention and conversion, which is a real positive to have full ownership of the eCommerce customer journey. 

Working with the Operations Director youll use continual feedback from customer data to input on your strategy. Youll propose continuous improvements across key metrics including customer acquisition, retention, conversion, order value, returns and cancellations. Having an understanding of the warehousing and customer service will set you up nicely for a Head of eCommerce role in the future. 

Given the size of the proposition were ideally looking for someone with fashion experience and a track record in growing a smaller / medium size brand. An understanding of eCommerce merchandising / trading is a must, alongside exposure to key channels (Social, SEO, Affiliates, Paid Search). 

What experience youll need

  • eCommerce management experience for a fashion brand. 
  • Ideally a track record in growing a small/medium size offering. 
  • Mix of team management and hands on skills. 
  • Online merchandising experience - Shopify a real plus. 
  • Solid use of Google Analytics and how this ties into key channels (SEO, PPC etc). 
  • Proficient with Excel.

You’ll work with the Content & Design teams to build blog article pages, using UX knowledge and digital design best practice to guide your layout decisions. Furthermore, you’ll manage the relationship with the web development agency and project manager.  This role also has one direct report – an eCommerce Assistant – who you’ll be able to lean on for some aspects of delivery, however you’ll still be expected to get stuck in and implement the strategy.   What experience you’ll need to apply Experience managing an eCommerce website end-to-end. B2C retail experience. Experience using Shopify is preferable.  Strong numeracy and analytical skills.  Experience using the full Google suite - Google Analytics is essential.  Experience in developing digital marketing strategies Technically minded with a customer focused approach  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  What you’ll get in return for your experience   The salary bracket is flexible dependent upon experience, but please bear in mind that you’ll be expected to work hands-on, not just at a strategic level. They are seeking a versatile and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to implement and manage the digital acquisition and comms strategy for their brand, across multiple channels.  What you’ll be doing  Your key aim will be to drive brand exposure and awareness through a range of digital channels, drawing upon expertise in Paid Advertising, Social Media and Content Marketing.   Day to day, you’ll work closely with a number of internal stakeholders, such as the eCommerce team, to ensure your strategies for driving customers onto the website are aligned. You’ll also work with the buying team who’ll advise on the relevant products to incorporate into your content before each new collection drops.  The creative team will support you with writing and optimising content to deliver against your overarching social & content calendar. In addition, you will plan affiliate exposure and commission exclusive affiliate content, where appropriate, as well as developing partnerships with relevant influencers.  Using relevant analytics tools, you will track & monitor campaign and keyword performance and optimise accordingly, as well as ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to, e.g. tone of voice.  What experience you’ll need to apply Experience within an eCommerce environment.  Ability to deliver successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.  Experience with the Google suite of analytics products.   Strong written and verbal communication skills required.  Self-starter/self-motivated, capable of staying on track and completing tasks.  Adapts easily to changing environments and demonstrates flexibility in shifting goals. and priorities.  Must be a hands-on team member and operate with a start-up mentality.
