Following a successful digital transformation, my client has become a 100% digital business, they are significantly growing their design capability across UX, product and research and they need a proven UX designer to lead on the development and delivery of our products and projects.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for a cross functional capability and leading small product teams of product, design, research and senior stakeholders. You will be the driving force behind our products through discovery, delivery tracks and beyond. You will also play a significant part in the strategic development of the team and the processes and principles they work to.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Put processes in place for product development of consumer apps and our ecommerce site and websites.
  • You will be involved in every element of the process from team management/ mentorship, strategy, running and participating in design workshops and sprints as well as hands on design, prototype and test ideas.
  • Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimisation and UX within an ecommerce/ online marketplace setting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence with Pms, engineers and researchers as well as wider internal staff.
  • Proven experience to be a leader within an agile culture, promoting UX principles and workflows.
  • Proven ability to develop a UX strategy based on user research and to drive business growth, CRO and an evolving capability.
  • Have a real passion for user experience and the industry as a whole.

What you’ll be doing Reporting into the Head of marketing, this is a brand-new role to support with the creation of engaging content across multiple channels including print, motion and digital. This role will work closely with the Global Lead, Marketing and Comms teams to help evolve and promote the brand, designing integrated marketing materials and ensuring consistency across their creative output. The briefs will be varied; your day-to day could include designing printed brochures, PowerPoint presentations, events collateral, digital banners, social media assets, the list goes on! Liaising with external photographers and videographers to shoot content, you’ll be getting stuck in with post-production; turning your hand to retouching images and video editing (if you have the skills!). The role sits within a fresh, growing design team with the opportunity to work on a variety of briefs including digital asset creation, retouching and print briefs such as packaging. What you’ll be doing Recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies this multi-national online retailer is looking for a Designer to join their in-house design studio. As a Designer you’ll help create for brands across the company’s portfolio that include lifestyle products, personal care, health and home appliances. You’ll be part of a small but growing creative team and design for digital content, social media, packaging and help shape the look and feel for a diverse collection of brands. You'll also support retouching, working with compositions of product photography and renders to be used across marketplace sites, along with assisting on product photo shoots with art direction and styling. Reporting into the Head of Design you will work alongside 2 designers, a 3D design manager and a specialist artworker. You’ll work closely with both the eCommerce and Marketplace teams too. This is a fast paced studio so you can expect to be kept busy with a real diversity of projects and be part of a business that’s truly ambitious. What experience you’ll need Previous experience within a similar design role. A portfolio full of digital assets (including social and web content) Fantastic knowledge of both digital and print processes and practices. Experience retouching or compositing images in Adobe Photoshop. Confident user of Adobe CC, proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working with a fast paced and ambitious team. Excellent attention to detail. Motion graphics skills in After Effects or Premier Pro also a plus.
