Data Analyst (Media and Publishing)

Calling all media loving data gurus. One of the UK'S largest and most renowned publishing houses is looking for an experienced Data Analyst who is very digitally orientated, to join their successful Product team. In this team, the focus is very much around driving online subscriptions, at a time where they're looking towards personalisation. You'll be inquisitive with numbers and data; but also you will be very commercial and able to spot opportunities for increasing revenue.
What you'll be doing
This is a role that needs you to be able to work across different teams and bring together data and insight from various revenue streams and touchpoints such as social media, apps, and the website, to really get under the skin of the customer journey and the subscription funnel. Across these multiple touch points, you'll deploy various tests to help understand how customers are interacting, and spot opportunities for personalisation. This requires you to have a solid understand of digital marketing and acquisition, as well as being highly analytical. You'll be an integral part of numerous projects which makes it fun and exciting, and very much at the forefront of where this business wants to be. Your hard work will directly influence business decision making - which in itself will be very rewarding.
What experience you'll need to apply for the role
- Experience in a customer analytics role is highly desirable here
- Google or Adobe Analytics experience
- Exposure to tag management (e.g. DTM, GTM or Ensighten)
- The ability to work with large data sets
- SQL experience is desirable
- Strong stakeholder management experience
