eCommerce Manager

This exciting, luxury fashion business is looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager to develop and implement an industry-leading eCommerce strategy to help grow their brand through the delivery of an exceptional online customer experience. 

What you’ll be doing 

You will be responsible for driving conversions to increase revenue growth, as well as increasing customer acquisition, engagement and retention, through innovative and strategic online merchandising, trading and ongoing website optimisation.

As a leading player within the Digital team, your remit will involve day-to-day management of eCommerce website. You’ll need to be familiar with the entire product catalogue and understand what is driving sales, therefore an important task of yours will be to oversee all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce, and provide relevant reports to the wider team. 

Working collaboratively is an essential part of this role. You’ll tie in the overarching eCommerce strategy with the digital marketing plan, liaising regularly with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure messaging is consistent across advertising channels and the website. What’s more, you’ll both work together to actively grow the CRM function, through data capture initiatives which will grow the digital newsletter database.

You’ll work with the Content & Design teams to build blog article pages, using UX knowledge and digital design best practice to guide your layout decisions. Furthermore, you’ll manage the relationship with the web development agency and project manager. 

This role also has one direct report – an eCommerce Assistant – who you’ll be able to lean on for some aspects of delivery, however you’ll still be expected to get stuck in and implement the strategy.  

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Experience managing an eCommerce website end-to-end.
  • B2C retail experience.
  • Experience using Shopify is preferable. 
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills. 
  • Experience using the full Google suite - Google Analytics is essential. 
  • Experience in developing digital marketing strategies
  • Technically minded with a customer focused approach 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

What you’ll get in return for your experience  

The salary bracket is flexible dependent upon experience, but please bear in mind that you’ll be expected to work hands-on, not just at a strategic level. Enquire for further info.
