We’re looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to build and deliver Paid Social Media strategy to boost exposure and engagement of a large portfolio of journals through driving traffic to the website. Our client is a global open-source publisher for journals and their mission is to deliver and share research ethically and ensure there are no barriers to information for their audiences.

After recently receiving funding, our client is undertaking a huge growth period where they are focussing on the Paid Media team which offers an amazing opportunity for career development. This role is primarily focused on Paid Social and driving traffic to the website via Facebook and Twitter.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of the Paid Media team, you will be developing and implementing campaigns in line with the company’s global marketing strategies.

You will play a key part in the business by liaising with colleagues across the delivery team to ensure a comprehensive, multi-channel approach is delivered for each campaign. You will also be interpreting briefs from the wider Journal Development team and implementing them across social media platforms so enjoying a collaborative working environment is essential.

A crucial part of this role will be monitoring and optimising campaigns and providing feedback to colleagues to help them achieve their objectives The ideal candidate will be someone who is results orientated, can utilise the strengths of the team and can understand how their role fits within the future goals of the company.

With the support of the Senior Paid Media Manager, you will oversee operations to understand budgets and capabilities to make improvements to campaign strategy where necessary.

What experience you’ll need to apply

●      3-5 years of experience in a Paid Media/Paid Social Manager role
●      Specific experience of Paid Social on both Facebook and Twitter
●      Confidence to mentor and offer feedback to team members
●      Ability to handle data and report on the success of campaigns
●      Excellent communication skills to collaborate with wider teams effectively
●      Knowledge of Paid Search and Chinese platforms is a bonus

What you’ll get in return for your experience 

This is a great role based in London or fully remote that offers a salary between £45-55k depending on experience. They also offer flexible working hours as well as a 15% annual performance bonus.
