I am working with an amazing green-tech business, based in London who have partnered with market-leading retailers across the UK and are breaking-ground in improving the circular economy.
Using AI and IoT, this business has developed state of the art software and a business model that is both economically viable and environmentally impactful in technology consumerism.
What you'll be doing
The business is now looking for a Python Developer with solid experience in Django to build functional and efficient server-side applications.
You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, working in 2-week sprints, collaboratively amongst a cross-functional team, sharing and contributing ideas and suggestions that could impact the future technical direction from a backend perspective.
The business has multiple exciting projects in the pipeline including the creation of a cutting-edge eCommerce site so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to put their stamp on a Greenfield project within an incredible mission-led business who are using progressive technology and are looking for someone who has a keen interest in staying ahead of the curve with the latest tech-stack.
For the time being the role is fully remote but moving forward, when it is safe to do so, there will be a mix of remote and office-based working, which is situated between London City and Canary Wharf.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Solid experience as Python Developer
- Strong experience with Python Django
- Familiar with AWS and REST API
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps processes.
- Understanding of databases and SQL
