Junior Strategist / Researcher - Brand / Content / Social Media

We’re looking for a Junior Strategist / Researcher with at least one year of experience in a similar role, to join a thriving independent Creative, Marketing, and Media agency that specialises in Entertainment, Gaming, and Tech sectors.

They work with some of the coolest brands in the industry and this is your opportunity to join their expanding Insight and Strategy team. You'll work with global clients on industry-leading brand and campaign strategies, and you'll be mentored by some of the best people in the industry. It's a huge opportunity for a Junior Strategist or a Researcher (from the branding/marketing world) who wants to move into a Strategy role.

They have offices in the UK and US, and this person can be based either in London, Bristol or Bath, and with flexible and remote working on offer for those that would prefer to be one the office less, or barely at all!

What you’ll be doing
  • Working across a variety of Entertainment, Tech and Gaming clients in the US and EU
  • Reporting to a Strategist but working closely with the team, including Data and Insights
  • Develop insights to inspire strategies, and share cultural trends and insights that support our clients' needs
  • Support teammates and account lead on strategic and creative projects
  • Proactively share emerging tech, master social platforms, and become the go-to Social media oracle
  • Create and present reports on audiences and the latest trends
  • Work with the wider Strategy team and the Client Services team to assess briefs and challenges, succinctly articulating them in engaging ways as the foundation for the agency response.
  • Develop creative briefs that inspire creative excellence and effectiveness in line with brand strategies.
  • Collaborate on new business pitches and proposals
  • Attend reviews, client workshops, and immersion sessions as required
  • Independently own and develop smaller client projects
  • Provide support to the team with a positive approach
What experience you’ll need
  • 1 years in an agency working on integrated marketing strategy
  • Entertainment, Gaming, or Tech experience welcomed.
  • Experience with Tech brands that play in the cultural space would be the perfect fit - e.g. Beats by Dre
  • Experience working for brands outside of Tech/Gaming that use culture as a way to communicate with humans is also ideal.
  • Experience creating presentations using Google Slides
  • Experience conducting desk research and devising strategic plans (with or without the support of a more senior team member).
  • Experience devising plans with influencers and or Social platforms like: TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, and YouTube would be perfect!
