This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Automation Specialist in an innovative biotech that are looking to use synthetic biology to produce natural dyes.

What you will be doing:

The successful candidate as the Automation Specialist will be involved in implementing and automating a synthetic biology pipeline that will allow for product development to be accelerated. They have an existing pipeline, but this is manual so would be looking to automate this and also expand it.

What experience you’ll need to apply:

• PhD or MSc in a related field of science or engineering
• A background and knowledge of setting up automation workflows and working with equipment such as colony pickers, plate readers, liquid handlers and other automation tools.
• Experience troubleshooting automation scripts
• Experience automating high throughput bench scale synthetic biology or cell screening processes
• Experience using C/C or Python
