Senior R&D Chemist

This is an opportunity to join an established chemistry service provider with a solid reputation for R&D flexibility and their innovative approach to challenging projects.

  • Purpose built manufacturing facilities with an experienced team of industrial chemists.

  • Supervise a team of dedicated research Chemists.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading a team of research Chemists. Overseeing projects from concept to delivery.
  • Use your expert knowledge to deliver on synthetic chemistry programmes. Including developing, optimising, and scaling new processes.
  • Build relationships across the company, and with collaborators and customers by contributing to project meetings, technical report writing and collaborative research events.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to attend key professional development events.

What experience you’ll need to apply:

  • Motivated to succeed.
  • Enthusiasm and skills to solve complex problems.
  • A PhD focusing on chemical synthesis.
  • Good experience in industry working in small molecule synthesis.
  • In depth understanding of practical analytical techniques.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
