I am delighted to exclusively represent a fantastic Client of mine with recruitment of Senior Category Manager on a nine-month FTC maternity cover. 

What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will report into the Head of this business unit and they will work alongside two other Category Managers. They will also liaise with a wide net of stakeholders daily. In a nutshell, you’ll be responsible for increasing the category growth and raising brand awareness. You will achieve that by utilising consumer, market and competitor data and insight available to you to define consumer segments and relevant proposition. A big part of this role will be to work on NDP initiatives, new product launches and defining go to market strategies at the same time maximising profitability of existing products. In collaboration with stakeholders, you will develop and execute compelling marketing plans within your category, this will include managing production of all relevant assets such as advertising creative, media planning, PR, POS as well as presence across TV, print, retail and digital.  

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience working within the Category, Product or Brand function.
  • Background in Beauty or Personal Care will be hugely beneficial.
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast paced and commercial environment.
  • Solid knowledge of traditional and digital media, experience working with media agencies.

The Paid Search Manager will take charge of large PPC accounts as part of a broader team of 6. What you’ll be doing With eCommerce hitting significant levels, the team are looking for Paid Search professional to come in and manage large PPC budgets within the business. Working on both UK and International eCommerce, you’ll work hands initially however long term it will be about growing a PPC team around you. You’ll be responsible primarily for Google Ads, however experience in Bing and Paid Social would be a real plus. While online sales are primarily driven through direct eCommerce, the business has a growing marketplaces function. Offering advice on these campaigns to optimise paid search and being able to liaise with the wider marketing function will be key. Across all channels, you’ll gather reports on key performance metrics including sales, cost, ROI and ad performance, using this insight to tweak your overall strategy and report back to the Head of eCommerce. As it’s a new role this is an excellent opportunity to shape the position as your own, and build a team as the role progresses. What experience you’ll need Hands on PPC experience, from either agency or client side. Ideally managed significant budgets in excess of £50k a month, and had exposure to a retail setting. Definitely worked on Google Ads, Bing Ads a benefit.  Exposure to Facebook and Amazon a real plus but not a must. Analytical approach to breakdown customer data and draw inferences to tweak your campaigns.  Able to work well as part of a team and coordinate with other internal stakeholders. The office is based in North Bristol, this role offers a mixture of home working, site visits and office work.  I am delighted to be supporting a lovely Client of mine with recruitment of Regional Marketing Manager.  What you’ll be doing The successful candidate will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and will look after approx. 100 sites spread across the South region from Wales, Cornwall, South Coast all the way to Kent/ Essex. The purpose of the role is to work collaboratively with Regional Director, Area Managers and General Managers to identify sites that could benefit from local marketing support typically on a small scale with limited budgets up to £5k. The postholder will use a range of marketing channels figuring out which ones will be fit for purpose best on individual instances. Another part of the role will be to reflect national campaigns on a local level. Taking into consideration that frequently they will work with non-marketers, they will act as a marketing “Coach” always promoting best practices.  What experience you’ll need to apply Experience working on a managerial level in a b2c capacity.
