This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated junior candidate to join a leading full service agency and develop their career with excellent training and development. You’ll need to be a self-starter, as the beauty of agency life is that there are no two days are the same which means always keeping ahead of the game in terms technology, new marketing opportunities, the latest trends in SEO, social media and more.
You will be given a full training programme, mentoring and hands on client experience to ensure you really get to the experience the full mix, from strategy, implementation and awesome client results.
What you’ll be doing
The role is based in the SEO team, which looks after the SEO strategy for key clients, from a technical, content and outreach perspective, but it doesn’t stop there. SEO is an integrated discipline, meaning you’ll also be working with paid media teams, paid social channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc), and above the line (TV, press, radio, OOH and more) to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to SEO, content and search as a whole.
In this role, you will cover all aspects of SEO from strategy implementation to weekly/monthly reporting on SEO & Content performance. This role covers content and technical SEO, so you will need an interest in the technical side of things (full training will be given in this area) so tyou are able to review clients technical SEO and ensure they are sticking to SEO best practice. As well as working on technical SEO you will be analytically minded, and keen to get stuck in to software such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
On the content side, you’ll be responsible for on page content auditing and optimisation; providing actionable recommendations to improve SEO performance; Optimising key on-page factors such as meta data and on-page copy; Conducting keyword research and insights and assisting with broader content-related tasks, such as proofreading, content planning, and uploading content via the client’s CMS.
