We’re looking for a Digital Product Designer to join a well-established technology brand. This role will sit on the innovation team and work on new products for the business.

What you’ll be doing

Like many other industries, education has seen phenomenal change over the last couple of years. Investment in digital and digital literacy within the sector is on the increase and with it comes the opportunity to innovate and create exciting new tools that will change the face of education for good. In this role you’ll be creating these products.

Your focus day to day will be on new products, to begin with one that’s just starting to take shape. That said you’ll be part of a new but growing design and product community and help support other product teams from time to time too.

As a Digital Product Designer you’ll be using design thinking to solve problems and work throughout the whole product lifecycle. You’ll be leading and facilitating workshops, gathering your own research, creating prototypes and testing these with users. You’ll then collaborate with others on the build and UI design.

You’ll be joining the business at a time of serious investment in product and design. Design maturity overall is just getting started but you’ll find a senior team that are driving this change across the business and colleagues that come from diverse backgrounds when it comes to design and product thinking.

What experience you’ll need

  • Be an expert in design thinking and comfortable working across the full product lifecycle.
  • Comfortable leading design activities including workshops, research activities and creating product prototypes.
  • Have tested your concepts with users.
  • Keen to play an active role in developing the teams design maturity and community of practice.
  • A portfolio that showcases the products and services you’ve helped create and shows your design thinking.
