A team of 2 developers are looking to vastly expand their team with a need for a Senior Back-End Developer to join their cross functional department working on what is proving to be a very popular product in it’s market. You will be working with Business Analysts, Developers, QA’s, Operations and Designers to work on end-to-end delivery of a new software product that helps reduce energy consumption, in turn, saving customers money 
What skills you’ll be needing
  • Solid Object Orientated programming skills and maintainable architecture. 
  • Experience with Back-End languages such as Java, PHP, Python or NodeJS.
  • Proven experience in development and operation of large scale web data systems.
  • Test-driven development, acceptance test-driven development experience.
  • Experience or a desire to work with eXtreme Programming (XP) pairing.
  • Agile practices.
  • History or ability to mentor other developers.
  • Strong communication skills.
What you’ll be doing
You will be developing and delivering scalable OO architecture by using modern languages within a Back-End environment. You will be hands-on writing clean code in Java, PHP, Python, NodeJS and JavaScript in order to deliver business value into production. As a Senior Developer you will be working to help grow the overall skills within the team and be willing to pick up other programming languages to a level in which you can pass off your knowledge. The team work in an eXtreme programming environment so you will be pair-programming and carrying out test-driven development. You will also be working closely with the Product Owner and other members in order to define and schedule delivery or business requirements.
