A data engineer is required to support several projects including a new cloud data platform build.
What you'll be doing
You will support the build of a new enterprise datalakehouse in Azure, requiring you to work with a combination of on-prem, Cloud and Big Data technologies.
As a result, you'll collaborate with other data engineers and data teams to ensure that the data is integrated and accessible across the organisation. E.g. for the Data Science Team.
This role requires a range of data engineering activities including; prototyping, pipelining, warehousing, automation and more.
Main Stack: Azure, Databricks, Datafactory, Deltalake, Eventhubs, SSMS, Python, PySpark and SQL.
What you'll need to apply
- ETL/ELT experience
- SQL
- Datafactory/Datatbricks preferred
- Python/Java/Scala/R preferred
- Data modelling skills highly desirable
- Autonomous mindset
What you'll get in return for your experience
Base salary of up to £70k plus bonus (8-10%) and benefits including 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and the chance to accelerate your Cloud experience.
The role is offered hybrid (two days per week in Bournemouth) or fully remote with the requirement to go in once per month.
