We’re looking for a Digital Product Designer to join a tech company helping people with mental health and learning disabilities live more independently.
What you’ll be doing
This is a great role that brings with it the opportunity to work on interesting, impactful technology whilst also helping embed design thinking into a team. The product is currently used by thousands of people across the UK and offers bespoke support to people with a wide variety of needs. You’ll be working closely with a diverse set of users and contributing throughout the whole product design lifecycle.
This role sits within the product team where you’ll be working alongside experienced Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and Testers. This role is growth for the business and you’ll be joining a fantastic Product Designer we placed last year.
Due to the size of the design team we’re looking for someone willing and able to work across the whole product design process to begin with. This includes conducting research, creating workflows and journeys, wireframes, prototypes, testing and high-fidelity UI work too. You’ll also play a key role in engaging the wider business in design thinking and user centred design practices and processes.
What experience you’ll need
- Previous experience in an end-to-end UX role working from research to high fidelity UI.
- Capable of conducting your own research and regularly testing with users.
- Ideally experienced in Agile, having worked as part of cross functional teams.
- Good knowledge of accessibility and usability (WCAG 2.1).
- An interest in neurodiversity and any awareness or professional experience with autism or anxiety beneficial.
