We’re looking for a Senior Design Thinker to work on complex and fascinating service design projects. Leveraging technology, you will help solve real world problems through design. This role will involve being the design lead across a number of key projects and is likely to be around 3 months’ work on a remote basis.

What you’ll be doing

As the Senior Design Thinker, you will lead and support the design process across two high profile projects. You’ll work closely with the internal project team and with client stakeholders to run generative and evaluative research, design and facilitate workshops and produce service blueprints, requirements and reports on your findings.

You can expect to work on large scale and complex challenges and deliver work that has real impact around the world.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • An expert designer with previous experience of leading projects involving design research and discovery.
  • Experience of solving complex problems and working on complicated services.
  • Fantastic stakeholder management skills. Comfortable collaborating with people of all backgrounds and at all levels of an organisation.
  • Confident designing and facilitating workshops and reporting research findings.
  • A visual communicator, able to express design concepts and ideas through sketching, storyboarding and using digital design tools when necessary.
  • Able to start in February.
  • Experience of running or being part of Google Design Sprints.
