What you’ll be doing
You will develop the marketplace function with the support of an established trading team, launching new products to market and managing them through their product life cycle for a range of exciting brands. Your focus will be creating and executing an effective strategy to ensure all brands perform at the highest possible level, exceeding sales targets across all categories.
Day to day you’ll optimise existing listings, liaise with brands and key stakeholders, conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify areas of opportunity, negotiate and monitor promotional deals, analyse product performance, manage forecasting and more, always ensuring the proposition is as strong as possible. This is a busy and hands on role which will develop to a strategic role as you build out your team, a seriously exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career with a progressive agency full of experts operating at the top of their game.
What experience you’ll need
- Proven track record managing and developing marketplaces, with extensive Amazon experience.
- Excited by using the latest online, database and brand storytelling techniques.
- Gets a buzz from using data to drive strategy and enjoys seeing the amazing results it can generate.
- Thrives working under pressure and working with a range of characters.
- Commercially numerate (an understanding of Retail Maths) - able to quickly and accurately review data, revenue trends and identify logical next steps.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and approachable and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
- Great communication skills (written & verbal) and the ability to influence.
- Team management and development experience would be ideal.

The salary on offer will be up to around the £50k mark, but this will entirely depend on experience. The agency offer huge amounts of flexibility around remote working and hours, with a stunning office space in central Bristol to base yourself from if you wish. You’ll need to be in the office every Tuesday as this is trading day, other than that they’re happy for this to be a remote role.
