PHP Developer

We are working with a really exciting start-up business who are on a mission to do social good. Focused within the education sector, this product aims to help and support students with workloads and mental health. This is a growing business who are looking to hire a mid-level PHP Developer to help out with new projects and new features for the product. Reporting to the Senior Developer you will be a key part of the team as they grow and be part of a business that are really passionate about doing meaningful work.
 

What you’ll be doing

Working remotely alongside a senior PHP Developer, you will be helping to develop new and existing products and support with maintenance and upgrades.  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about working in the tech for good space.


What’s needed

• Previous experience working as a PHP Developer.
• Commercial experience using Laravel.
• Familiar working in a product focused environment.
• Strong PHP coding skills and understanding of best coding practices.
• Good understanding of Cloud infrastructure, AWS.
• Great communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and enjoys the ups and downs of start-up life.
• Great leadership skills and ability to speak with stakeholders of all levels.
• On board with the company mission and wanting to do social good
