Business Intelligence Manager

An award-winning business with a focus on sustainable and organic living are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join them in the South West. The business has thrived in the last 18 months having seen a huge spike in sales since the pandemic; they’re a £260m turnover business with multiple sites across the UK. Their success means more investment into key initiatives like organic/sustainable farming, recyclable packaging, animal welfare, soil health and much more. The role offers hybrid working with a trip to the office 2-3 days a week (this is open to discussion). 

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be involved in the design and implementation of the BI infrastructure and services across the business, with freedom to deliver the data insights across the IT strategy and roadmap.

You’d also be the go-to person for everything around analytics, designing and more when it comes to business intelligence across projects and initiatives. You’d also be involved in managing the third-party vendors with all their projects to ensure everything is up to the highest standard, cost effective and following best practices.

Later down the line you would also be involves in the recruitment process to grow your team, alongside coaching the inhouse BI and data team.

What experience you’ll need to apply
  • Experience working in the Business Intelligence space
  • Understanding of the full MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS)
  • Experience with Business Systems Reporting (ERP) and SQL Server
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Appreciation for the value of BI and data analytics 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bonus for MS Dynamics experience
  • Bonus for experience developing multi-dimensional BI cubes
