Top digital specialist with offices in Bridgwater are looking for a talented developer to join their growing digital tech team. With a big focus on eCommerce they have been busier than ever over the past few years and are in need of an experienced Full Stack Developer to come to deliver slick and immersive websites and applications to their widely varied client base. You will play a key role evaluating and selecting tech for new projects picking up new tech as you go along.
What skills you’ll be needing
- Solid understanding of MySQL
- Wordpress development experience (not just theming).
- GIT/Version control.
- Understanding or willingness to learn Laravel or Symfony.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects at once.
- A good team player, able to learn quickly and work with non-tech people effectively.
What you’ll be doing
Joining a close-knit team of you will be developing responsive websites and slick web applications for clients of all sizes. You’ll be able to apply your knowledge of cross-browser/device testing and be given time to experiment, research and develop new ideas as you go. As a key part of the business, they’ll look for you to pass on your skills to others as they grow and lead small projects working directly with clients and the client support team. It’s a fast-paced environment where you’ll be juggling multiple projects at once. They’re a really supportive bunch with a great sense of humour making it a fun place to work.
