Digital Marketing Analyst
— Thriving Online Brand
- Complex digital journey, great variety.
- Large independent brand.
- Excellent progression.
This brand is a leading service provider in the energy sector who are well-known for a fantastic culture and forward-thinking attitude. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst who can interrogate their customer data and identify opportunities to improve performance across the customer journey (acquisitions and conversions online).
What you’ll be doing
This is a highly strategic role where your insights can offer opportunities for growth on a massive scale. Furthermore, being in the energy sector this can be hugely valuable for customers looking to find more efficient tariffs, and for those seeking a more satisfying overall customer journey.
You’ll use various tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Doubleclick to manage the data at your fingertips, and present them in clearer ways to various stakeholders across the business (Digital, eCommerce, Customer Experience and Business Intelligence). Reporting your findings on a weekly basis will help evaluate where to boost ROI through the customer journey, whether this is customers finding the service in the first place (PPC, SEO, Social Media, Display/Retargeting) or those looking to enjoy a positive customer experience across the site.
In turn, attribution models can then link into the team’s spending strategy and highlight where future changes need to be made. Additional areas of responsibility include developing current tools and processes to improve efficiency, and work closely with other marketing channels that tie into the overall goals of the business.
What experience you’ll need
- Experience working as a Digital Analyst with knowledge across the customer journey (Acquisition and Conversions).
- Strong Excel skills and a numbers driven individual.
- Excellent commercial acumen with an ability to spot opportunities relating to revenue / online turnover within data sets.
- A real passion for what you do and a creative approach to problem solving.
- Experience with SQL a plus but not a must.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
A competitive salary on offer in the region of £45k (possibly up to £50k but depending on experience), with benefits including a generous bonus scheme, flexible benefits package, birthday day off and free breakfasts, further to an amazing list of social events. There is a great culture here so the team can’t wait for you to get stuck in!
